Ever since Mumbai terror has taken place, I could see most of the citizens abusingand defaming politicians .. I could see Mumbai people gathering at the ‘gateway way of India’, burning several candles and then voicing their disgust on television by blaming politicians of India for all the ills in Indian society and accusing them for not doing any progressive as well as definitive work .. Every one is saying : ‘Enough is enough. It’s high time that we youth must do something’.. My question to all of them is : “Do what???” ..

I am confident that no one has the answer of this question .. Some (pseudo) intellectual and sophisticated English-speaking gentlemen will vent out their (unnecessary) anger on politicians by sitting in an air-conditioned TV studio but when asked about joining the politics, they would say, “It’s not our cup of tea. It’s a dirty business.” .. Bunch of hypocrites ..

Then some bunch of people say that we pay taxes so politicians should do something .. The basic problem of our country is that ke no one wants go beyond paying taxes and abusing politicians and giving lectures on what politicians should do .. A real mockery of our citizenship ..

Then there is another group of people who want politicians to be out of power but they have no alternatives or any other clues about what kind of people or governance should replace them?

If politicians are to be blamed for the recent terrorist attacks, then is it not true that the Indian Navy, the Coast Guard and the Mumbai police too are to be blamed for not taking enough measures to prevent these terrorists from entering Mumbai? .. Politicians’ duty is to create and hold policies .. To successfully execute these policies, politicians need support from all the levels .. If even a single level is weak or not efficient or not doing its duty properly, there will be lapses nad failure .. Hence we could see the results of those lapses ..

So why are we targeting politicians alone?

So to all the people who want alternative form of government, we did try that in mid 70s in the form of emergency .. We all know how terrorised the entire nation was during that period ..

If you want a military rule, then check out our own lovely neighbour Pakistan .. Military is ruling it since ages and thus it is a completely ruined and failed country ..

If you want a theocratic State, then look at Saudi Arabia where women don’t have many rights and even men would become a slave of the government who always remain in the state of fear of death ..

If you want a Communist state, then look how China has been suppressing human rights all these years even without world noticing ..

In Pakistan, Politicians have always abused power so much and they were always ruthless against their opponents — be it Benazir Bhutto or her father Zulfikar Ali Bhutto or Nawaz Sharif .. They put their opponents behind bars for some or the other reasons and made governance a one man rule even in a democracy .. But in our country, though the BJP and Congress play vote bank politics all the time, they will not start a vindictive campaign against each other’s leaders ..

When we talk about corruptions, it’s the politicians who get the media coverage so we get to know about their scams .. But if we could really see and analyze, then we will realize that corruption is rampant in every part of our society .. Doctors are busy in malpractice and making hell lot of money in a uncivilized way by playing with human lives .. Engineers/Builders mix water, cement and all other things to save some bucks and build weak and fragile buildings and bridges which fall or break and so many people get killed .. We could see that roads are getting broken whenever there is a rain hence contractors too are corrupt .. Abu Salem and Afzal Guru get a lawyer in India so that sets one example of how Lawyers are corrupt .. I don’t have to mention about police and bureaucrats .. We all know about them .. Professors and teachers leak the exam papers or they provide favors to the students for some money and play with the careers of intelligent – hard working students .. So in short, every profession, every aspect of our society has become corrupt, dishonest and crooked ..

I agree that ‘Enough is Enough’ but not only for politicians but also for all those journalists and News channels who sit in their studios and don’t even do their jobs properly .. How they provided the help to the terrorists by broadcasting the operation of NSG commandos live on TV .. These channels spread rumours like the one about firing at Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus last Friday, spreading panic in the city .. Do they have any accountability?

At least we have the right to vote politicians out, but what about these journalists and News channels? Don’t you think it is high time we tell them: ‘Enough is Enough’ of your senseless programmes and biased & partial coverage of every issue which is related to our motherland ??

A great revolution is required to clean out all the ills from our society but how will that be done, I have no clue about it ..

Seriously, Enough is enough !!

I may sound like a maniac but it is 11:15 PM and I am not sure what to do right now?.. Since last one and half months, at this time I was just glued to my idiot box watching and enjoying IPL matches…But now IPL is over and I feel like I have lost a dear and close companion of mine…Today since 8 PM, I am feeling like something is missing in my schedule…This was the charisma of IPL..It really made me(us !!!) addicted…I hope that all other cricket fans are also passing through the same phase and also suffering from the same ‘missing-IPL syndrome..You just cannot change your habit soon, Can you??

Now I don’t have any other option but to watch those SaasBahu soap operas with Tulsis and Parvatis and their million extra-marital affairs and hundreds of their non-legitimate children…I might kill time watching our stupid News Channels just to keep me updated about Indian politics and other murder-rape-suicide stories especially high-profile ‘Aarushi muder case’ which now will be investigated by CBI..I hope her killers are caught and punished soon for this brutal crime…May Arushi’s soul rest in peace in GOD’s heaven…

Are you missing IPL???

Yeah…1st May was Gujarat’s 48Th birthday..It was the day when Gujarat and Maharashtra were separated from each other on the basis of language spoken in each region…Majority of Gujarati people were granted a new state Gujarat while majority Marathi-speaking Maharashtrian were given a new state Maharashtra…But still many Gujarati stay in Maharashtra and many Maharashtrian stay in Gujarat..These two communities have mixed together so well that it reminds of how sugar gets absorb in milk…

So I am feeling an immense pleasure in wishing Gujarat and Maharashtra a very happy birthday…

Our print & electronic media and pseudo-secularists have tried their level best to spoil the image of Gujarat and Gujarati after Godhra-riots…We, Gujarati, have been given the titles like Murderers, Hitlers, Merchants of death, Hindu fanatics etc etc…But Gujarat has silenced its critics by providing development, safety and a great infrastructure to education and industry areas…Following facts are surely worth mentioning about Gujarat…

1. Gujarat is one of the most prosperous states of the country, having a per-capita GDP 3.2 times India ’s average.

2. If it was a nation it would have been 67Th richest nation in the world above many European and Asian economies like China and Ukraine .

3. Gujarat holds many records in India for economic development: 20% of India ’s Industrial Output · 9% of India ’s Mineral Production· 22% of India ’s exports· 24% of India ’s textile production· 35% of India ’s pharmaceutical products· 51% of India ’s petrochemical production

4. The world’s largest ship breaking yard is in Gujarat near Bhavnagar at Alang.

5. Reliance Petroleum Limited, one of the group companies of Reliance Industries Limited founded by Dhirubhai Ambani operates the oil refinery at Jamnagar which is the world’s largest grass roots refineries .

6. Gujarat ranks first nationwide in gas-based thermal electricity generation with national market share of over 8% and second nationwide in nuclear electricity generation with national market share of over 1%.

7. Over 20% of the S&P CNX 500 conglomerates have corporate offices in Gujarat .

8. Gujarat is having the longest sea shore compared to any other Indian state

9. Gujarat is having the highest no. of operating airports in India (Total 12).

10. India ’s 16% of Investment are from Gujarat .

11. Ahmedabad – the commercial capital of Gujarat is the seventh largest city in India .

12. Surat is the fastest growing city in the world.

13. Gandhinagar is the Greenest Capital City in whole Asia .

14. Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad(IIMA) is Asia’s 1 st and world’s 45th ranked management college located in Ahmedabad, Gujarat .

15. Gujarat is the safest state as the Crime rate of it is 8.2 which is the least in India even after considering 2002 communal riots, stated by India Today 2005 report.

16. Gujarat is having least crime against women among all Indian states (excluding Goa).

17. Ahmedabad which is the seventh largest city in India is the lowest in crime rate among all Tier-I and Tier-II cities of India as per National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) report.

18. Ahmedabad is ranked 2nd in Real Estate – Ahead of Bangalore,Chennai, Hyderabad , Mumbai & Delhi. 3rd in Policy Initiatives – Ahead of Bangalore , Chennai, Calcutta , Mumbai & Delhi. 4th in Manpower – Ahead of Bangalore ,Chennai, Mumbai & Delhi.

19. Last but not the least, Gujarat has NARENDRA MODI as its chief-minister.

We often do selective listening, and interpret things based on our likes/dislikes & pre-conceived opinions…During Godhra-riots, media’s role was surely questionable and biased…They did ignore the grave incident of Godhra which initiated the fire instead they unfairly focus on the post-Godhra incidents…So media’s intention was just to defame Gujarat and not to uphold the truth…

As I read it somewhere on someone’s blog, I also would surely like to ask following questions to our media:

1. Why does the same media which strives to cover up the bomb blasts of Delhi,Mumbai and Hyderabad, blows Godhra incidents out of proportion? Why the incident of 56 persons who were burnt alive in the train, is completely ignored?

2. How come the killings of 50,000 lives of kashmiri pandits can be just ignored? Even after these many years, 4 lakh kashmiri pandits are still staying in a refuge camp in a very pity situation..Loss of life is same for all cases, and the pain & destruction are unrecoverable for all..Why all these biases??

3. Why the Congress is NOT held responsible for Sikh riots, when its leader Rajiv Gandhi openly defended it by saying “When a big tree falls, the ground would be shaken”..

4. Nandigram riots in West Bengal were certainly a state-sponserd riots against the farmers by CPM(Communist party of India) activists but it never got media’s attention or media’s coverage..

6. M.F. Hussain, a famous painter of India, who has drawn some vulgar and naked paintings of Hindu God and Goddess, is welcomed by our electronic media and pseudo-secularists but the lady Taslima, who wrote about the insane & weird culture and tradition of Islam and tried to show the mirror to all the Muslim priests, has been kicked out of our country and has been given death threats(fatwas) all over the world??..Are Hindus too tolerant or are they too coward??

Is our media really credible and reliable??..It’s a big question to ask and it’s answer is simple NO..Anyways, we have shown the world that even if we were hit by earthquake, riots, floods etc we can still stand up, run and contribute India’s development..Hats off to Gujaratis !!! .. Hats off to Indians !!

Once again a very happy birthday to Gujarat and Maharashtra..Nobody can stop you from growing and flourishing…God bless you..

Every intellectual person of India knows the reputation of Indian media in recent times..You just cannot trust Indian media and it is applied to both – ‘Print Media’ and ‘Electronic Media’ .. They are capable of turning an insignificant piece of NEWS into a breaking news which can shake the whole country or the whole planet and vice verse is also true.. Sometimes they become so much engrossed in covering irrelevant NEWS that they forget their duties and their social responsibilities towards building a healthy, wealthy, safe, secure and unprejudiced society..

Yesterday I got a funny email about how and what Indian Media is covering these days..You might have seen that in the forward email but it is worth a second look..

Actually in the first glance it looks funny but if you think sensibly then it tells a pity story.. A story about the deterioration of Indian media .. It is really very unfortunate and shameful that where and in which direction Indian media is heading..Media should be positive, encouraging, responsible, honest, unbiased and fair..But that is not the case with Indian-Media in the recent times and hence it feels really very disappointed and frustrated..
